Deutsche appoints new Singapore country officer

As Thomas Lange returns to Germany, Ronny Tan takes over at the helm of Deutsche''s Singapore office.

Deutsche Bank has announced the appointment of Ronny Tan to the position of chief country officer for Singapore. Tan will report to Martin Loat, chief executive officer of Deutsche's corporate and investment bank division in the Asia-Pacific region. 

 

Tan joins the bank from the Board of Commissioners of Currency, where he acted as investment director. Prior to that, he was with ABN Amro for 10 years, latterly as its senior manager for the regional treasury group.

In his new post, Tan's main task will be to run the Singapore branch while supporting other business functions on a local basis. He will also be the bank's representative in dealing with regulators and government agencies.

Tan replaces Thomas Lange, who has returned to Germany after two years in the job.
