Rayson Hazra heads to ABN AMRO

Appointed vice president of financial institutions foreign exchange distribution in Singapore.

ABN AMRO have appointed Rayson Hazra as vice president of financial institutions (FI) foreign exchange distribution. The role is based in Singapore and Hazra will assume responsibility for FX/FXO sales to regional financial institutions and public sectors (FIPS), and to US based hedge funds.

Hazra will report to Huilin Tan, head of financial institutions foreign exchange distribution, Singapore/South East Asia. Hazra assumed a similar role in foreign exchange distribution with Standard Chartered before joining ABN AMRO.

"The FX/FXO business in Asia is a priority for us and the addition of Hazra in Singapore enhances our already well developed platform," comments Andre LaJeunesse, regional head of financial institutions sales, financial markets. "We look forward to his valuable contribution in boosting our hedge fund sales and enhancing our existing client relationships."

Edward Wassink, global head of FIPS sales, financial markets, adds, "The hiring of Hazra is an important step in optimizing the service and delivery of FX/FXO products to our clients. We're delighted to have him on board."
