AsianInvestor recognised excellence in providing services to the buy-side in Asia at an awards dinner at the JW Marriott Hotel in Hong on November 22.
Service providers have never been more critical, whether it's helping to make the buy-side more efficient and cost-effective, or to keep it on top of a regulatory avalanche, or simply to support investors at a time of great market uncertainty.
The keynote address was given by Oliver Bolitho, head of Goldman Sachs Asset Management Asia-Pacific, which won AsianInvestor's award as asset manager of the year.
Overall there were awards for asset servicing, prime broking, legal and compliance, auditing, index providers as well as trading and execution, with several marquee awards announced on the night.
