Deutsche Bank grows Asian equities business

Deutsche Bank promotes Ed Peter and expands its team in Hong Kong.

Ed Peter has the new head of equities for Deutsche Bank for Asia Pacific and Australia, replacing Will Hamilton, who remains in the Asia Pacific region in a senior role. Based in Hong Kong, Peter will be responsible for Asia ex Japan and including Australia. Robin Yandle, head of Australian equities, will report directly to Peter.

Prior to this promotion, Peter was based in Zurich where he was responsible for building Deutsche Bank's Swiss equity product. Before that, he spent about 10 years at the then-SG Warburg.

In Hong Kong, Warren Primhak and Daniel Miller have also joined the global equities team. Both hail from ING Barings and will report to Peter directly.

Primhak will head the Asian equity trading desk, while Miller will head sales trading for Asia Pacific ex Japan. The latter has spent the past six years in Asia at ING Barings and Indosuez WI Carr.
