HSBC Securities names regional sales trading head

While Joe Hancock joins the Hong Kong office, HSBC Securities has also appointed three bankers to its Singapore and Malaysian teams.

Joe Hancock joins HSBC's Hong Kong office from Dresdner Kleinwort Benson, where he was head of Asian sales. Before joining DKB in 1997, Hancock worked for UBS Warburg Hong Kong in the same capacity. 

Soo Tsung Yan joins HSBC in Singapore as a director of institutional sales for Singapore and Malaysia, joining from ABN AMRO where he was an executive director.

Rukmani Bagai will join HSBC in Singapore as an associate director in research covering Singaporean and Malaysian banks. She was previously an associate director at Bear Stearns in Hong Kong and before that an Asian banks analyst for BNP Paribas in Singapore.

Sum Tze Tsien also joins HSBC in Singapore as a technology analyst and was previously an investment analyst at SG Securities in Singapore, primarily covering Singapore and Malaysia tech stocks.
