KIC invests up to $900 million in ‘active’ index strategies

The sovereign wealth fund has selected three FTSE developed non-market-cap-weighted strategies to diversify its public markets investments. If it works, it says it will invest more.

Sovereign wealth fund Korea Investment Corporation (KIC) has moved to invest up to $900 million of assets into three FTSE index products based on the strategies of active managers.
