Emerging Asia hedge funds suffer redemptions in Q2

Emerging-market hedge funds recorded net outflows in the second quarter, just as they did in the first, says Hedge Fund Research.

Despite a pparent bullishness about emerging markets (EMs) among investors in recent months, EM hedge funds saw net withdrawals of $1.5 billion in the second quarter, according to Chicago-based Hedge Fund Research (HFR).
