Werner Schlossmacher takes on a bigger role at Credit Suisse

Credit Suisse announced yesterday that it has appointed Werner Schlossmacher director and head of investment solutions for Southeast Asia and Australasia for its private bank.

He is based in Singapore and reports to François Monnet, managing director and head of private banking Southeast Asia and Australasia.

In this role, Schlossmacher will oversee the products and investment solutions areas and help relationship managers offer what the bank describes as "comprehensive and integrated financial solutions for clients' private and corporate assets". This appointment is in addition to his existing role as head of structured derivatives for Asia-Pacific for the private banking division of Credit Suisse.

Schlossmacher re-joined Credit Suisse in October 2009 from Barclays Group, where he was regional team leader of investments and products and head of structured products Asia for Barclays Wealth. Prior to this, he spent 17 years with Credit Suisse's private banking division in Singapore, Hong Kong and Zurich, holding management positions for structured product sales and advisory, investment consulting and portfolio management.
