Since we introduced our homepage in November 2006, the number of unique visitors to our site, the number of page impressions registered by our stories, and the length of time people spend reading them have steadily grown by the week. It is time to give readers of AI.net a daily newsletter service that allows them to focus on the stories that are most important to them.
Although AsianInvestor.net stories will no longer be featured on the FinanceAsia.com daily email newsletter, our websites remain connected, and we will continue to share certain content, including the ever-popular ôMoveö stories that track the latest industry news and gossip. Similarly, those subscribers to either siteÆs archive of news stories (extending back to 2000) will continue to enjoy full access to both.
Achieving this is possible now that we have expanded our editorial team. Rita Raagas De Ramos is responsible for driving our web content, backed by the other journalists at AI.net. Since she was brought on board last year, our output has doubled, giving us the critical mass required to offer a daily service.
That means more news each day covering hedge funds, securities services, distribution, regulation, institutional investor mandates, new investment products, business moves and secondary market trends, across the Asia-Pacific, from Tokyo to Dubai.
