Systems Union gears up for China and North Asia region

Systems Union, provider of financial, order fulfillment and e-business solutions, has made two senior appointments to better focus on north Asia region.

Jeannie Chiu is the new general manager of Hong Kong operations for Systems Union Limited. In her new role, Chiu will oversee operations and manage the 40 staff based in the Hong Kong office. In addition, she is responsible for the management of strategic developments of the company in North Asia, focusing on initiatives in China.

Chiu (pictured right) joined Systems Union in 1993 as corporate account manager and quickly rose up the ranks to become director of business development in 1997, where she positioned SunSystems as the "financial engine of choice". Prior to Systems Union, Chiu worked for Power LAN, ACA Pacific Technology and Dynastics Solutions.

Systems Union has also promoted Loretta Cho (pictured left) as the finance director for Asia Pacific. Cho will manage the cost control of all offices in Asia Pacific, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Japan and Australia. In line with preparing systems union for the WTO, Cho will manage the cost and development of other Asian languages, including Chinese and Japanese.

Cho joined Systems Union in 1992 and was promoted to finance director, Asia in 1998.
