StanChart relocates Latham to Singapore

Bank boosts its South East Asian loan team.

Matthew Latham is being internally transferred from Standard Chartered's Hong Kong office to boost its loan syndication team in Singapore. He is moving to a newly created position after three years as business planning manager for the bank's Hong Kong-based syndications operations.

In the new role, Latham will support Standard Chartered's primary syndicated loans activities across the Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines and Indonesian markets and will report to Pat Waranimman, managing director, and head of syndication for Southeast Asia.

Latham has previously worked in Standard Chartered's product management team in London and Singapore, where he was responsible for the development and management of trade finance and lending products. His syndicate role in Hong Kong will be filled by Andrew Cusack who is also an internal transfer.
