Over 230 officials from Korean asset owners, distributors and fund managers attended AsianInvestor's 6th Annual Korea Institutional Investment Forum.

The event was held at the Westin Chosun in Seoul on July 12, 2012. It started with a panel discussion on the present investment landscape, followed by discussion on China and India equities.

Before the morning break, Fidelity Investments gave a presentation on emerging markets, and there were further discussions on alternative investments and why fixed income investing is not dead.

After lunch MFS Investment Management gave a talk on the equities outlook, while BlackRock spoke about investing in volatile times.

A panel on safeguarding Korea's pension assets followed, as well as a look at global real estate investment and a focus on dependable equities upside. The event closed with FTSE mapping the evolution of alternative equity benchmarks.
