Nomura hooks Korean DCM head

Japanese firm appoints new hed of debt capital markets for Korea.

Jung-Won Lee has been enticed fro Standard Bank to Nomura to take on the post of head of debt capital markets, Korea. In his new position, Lee will dually report to John Keith, regional head of debt capital markets and Norihiko Nishino, branch manager and chief executive officer of Nomura Securities Seoul branch.

Lee assumes responsibility for the continued development and execution of capital market transactions undertaken in Korea where the firm has a strong foothold in the ABS and yen-denominated fixed income markets.

At Standard Bank Asia, Lee was senior vice president of fixed income and derivatives sales, global markets. Prior to his Standard Bank tenure, Lee was also employed by Standard Chartered Bank, HSBC and Citibank in Korea. In total, he brings 14 years of experience to Nomura in fixed income and derivatives markets.
