JPMorgan hires in Korean research

Jinah Lee joins from Morgan Stanley.

JPMorgan has hired a new member for its equity research team in Asia ex-Japan. Jinah Lee, previously from Morgan Stanley, has joined the bank as its South Korean consumer analyst.

She joined Morgan Stanley in 1999 and will take up her new post at JPMorgan in mid-July, reporting to Charlie Dutton, head of regional consumer research and SH Lee, head of Korean research.

In an internal announcement, the two commented, "We believe Jinah will add to the strong franchises we already have in our consumer team (ranked number three in 2003) and our South Korean team (second runner up)."
