HSBC India announces global markets heads

HSBC names Anand Krishnamurthy and Hitendra Dave as co-heads of global markets in India.
HSBC has named Anand Krishnamurthy and Hitendra Dave as co-heads of global markets of India based in Mumbai. They will take on their roles in July this year, from Monish Tahilramani, who is moving to Hong Kong as head of regional trading, Asia-Pacific. Tahilramani takes over from Tarun Mahrotri who quit HSBC earlier this year to join JPMorgan.

Krishnamurthy and Dave will be responsible for managing interest rates, foreign exchange, derivatives trading activities and for developing, expanding and broadening the market for HSBC treasuryÆs products and solutions to corporate and institutional accounts.

Currently, Krishnamurthy heads interest rates for the bank in India, overseeing the management of proprietary interest rate risk, structuring and the money market book. Dave heads the
institutional sales team and is responsible for the sale of fixed income, derivative and funding solutions to banks, real money managers and insurance companies.
