Finesse Alliance boosts Asian management team

Finesse Alliance, a Singapore-based provider of mobile-commerce solutions for the finance and healthcare industries, has appointed two new senior executives to grow its business in the region.

Felix Tuan is the new managing director for Finesse Alliance, Greater China. Tuan joins the company with over 25 years’ of financial and IT experience at ABN Amro and other international banks. Under Tuan's direction, Finesse Alliance is presently assisting ABN Amro and Chinatrust Commercial Bank in deploying mobile and retail banking initiatives in Taiwan.

Allan Lim has assumed the role of executive VP, sales and marketing at Finesse Alliance's head office in Singapore. Lim, with over 17 years of sales development experience in a regional sales environment, was previously with a local software and systems integration company where he positioned the company for future growth by establishing strategic alliances with the likes of Hewlett-Packard, Sun Microsystems and IBM.

Established in 1995, Finesse Alliance has Crimson Asia Capital Singapore as a major venture backer. Besides Singapore and Taipei it also has a presence in London and Malaysia, where it helped Maybank launch its Maybank 2U e-banking service last year. The company also plans to establish a new research centre in Malaysia this year, focusing on the development of mobile solutions for the banking, healthcare and hospitality industries, and is considering expansion into markets such as Korea, the Philippines and Japan.
