Calyon shifts Dubois to top derivatives role

Firm names new regional head of equity and fund derivatives for Asia including Japan.
Calyon Corporate and Investment Bank, one of the main players in regional and global derivatives, has boosted its derivatives area by relocating Cedric Dubois to the region. Dubois will take on the role of regional head of equity and fund derivatives for Asia including Japan, replacing Jean-Paul Brasier who recently left the firm. He will be based in Hong Kong.

Dubois will report on a global basis to Fabien Hajjar, CalyonÆs global head of equity and fund derivatives. Locally, he will report to Jacques Beyssade, its head of capital markets for Asia-Pacific ex-Japan and Dominique Blanchard, its local capital markets manager for Japan.

Upon taking on his new role, Dubois will oversee all the teams within CalyonÆs equity and fund derivatives line for Asia, including Hong Kong and Tokyo.

Dubois transfers to the new role internally after joining the bank in 2000. Most recently, he has been in charge of CalyonÆs equity derivatives exotic trading since April 2005.
